Flying into Inverness (Dalcross) and travelling by bus (City Link) to Elgin and then from Elgin as above.

By Car from Inverness

Take the A96 to Elgin and then the A941, going through Rothes and then turning left at Craigellachie for Dufftown. Be careful as you can easily miss the turn off to Dufftown.

By Car from Aberdeen

Take the A96 signposted Inverurie and Huntly. Instead of turning right to go into Huntly, which is by-passed on the A96, turn left just past Huntly turn-off onto the A920 signposted Dufftown.

By Car from Edinburgh (approx. 170 miles) from Glasgow (approx. 190 miles)

Take the A9 north and then just north of Aviemore take the A95 signposted Charlestown of Aberlour and Keith. After you havedriven through Charlestown of Aberlour (known as Aberlour) you will travel along by the side of the river Spey, and just before you come to Craigellachie turn off to your right - signposted Dufftown.

There is some spectacular scenery driving north through Perthshire and up into the Highlands. Whatever time of year you come the colours and hills are glorious. There are places to stop off and eat, plus visitor attractions, but remember - the best is yet to come in the heart of the Whisky country!
