MORVEN BED & BREAKFAST ~ DUFFTOWN
Morven is a small homely Bed & Breakfast, centrally situated in an
attractive village and in the heart of the Malt Whisky Capital.
It is an ideal base from which to tour the Speyside region and the
North East of Scotland, offering many places of interest as well as
beautiful scenery. Whether you come for the whisky, castles or walking, Dufftown
will give you a real flavour of the Highlands.
We offer warm,
comfortable accommodation and have made many friends since opening our
home to visitors over 39 years ago.
We have a double room(with one big bed), a twin/double room (two single beds
which can be made into one big bed with prior notice) and
a single room available, all with TV, Tea & Coffee making
facilities and Hairdryers. For winter & cold nights we have
electric blankets on all beds. Travel Cot with bedding available on
request. Wi-fi available.
The bathroom (bath with shower over, wash hand basin and toilet) is shared. A downstairs toilet and wash hand basin is also available.
René has a vast knowledge of whisky which he is always happy to share with other whisky enthusiasts. Also transport to surrounding distilleries and can be arranged at a small charge to cover cost of petrol as bus services to some are not available.
We have a No Smoking Policy throughout our home, but smokers are welcome to use the back garden. Other guests are also welcome to sit in or walk around the garden if the weather is nice.
